If you are studying for regulated qualifications such as Diplomas, you will need to complete research to expand your knowledge and understanding so that you can complete your assignments.
We are well aware that sometimes it can be challenging working out where to start and also what can be seen as ‘reliable’ or ‘valid’ sources! So with this in mind, we decided to give you some support. We don’t give you the answers but we do give you easier access to relevant information and websites to take some of the pressure off you.
It is important that you gather your information, make notes and then write your assignments in your own words, DO NOT copy chunks of information and submit this as your own work. This is known as Plagiarism and is definitely frowned upon. Your assessor will be using a Plagiarism checker for your assignments as well as having a knack of recognising when there are concerns. You can use quotes and information from other work , so long as you reference this and acknowledge the original source. Your assessor/tutor will be able to advise you further and provide a copy of the organisation’s Plagiarism Policy.
Plagiarism is the practice of using or copying someone else’s idea or work and pretending that you thought of it or created it.
Now he’s in real trouble. He’s accused of plagiarism.
